Jäger (/ˈjeɪɡər/, YAY-gər, German:

Mostly European, He is a 2nd generation South Paw puppy. He weighs approximately 85 lbs. Jäger is extremely smart and enjoys learning. He follows commands in English, Spanish, and German. He was crate trained in 2 weeks and hardly had any accidents inside the house. He is very obedient and takes pride when praised for following commands. He is very protective of his home and reacts when strangers get close to his territory. He loves to play (tag you’re it) with smaller dogs and is very gentle with them. Jäger is great with small children. He has been exposed to children all ages and he is very gentle. Although he is very energetic and needs to be exercised multiple times a day, when in public, he is very calm and eager to follow all instructions. He gets a lot of compliments from strangers stating that he is well mannered. And at home he is very calm. On instances he will display attention seeking behaviors like poking nose at you, flipping phones or remote controls, and the occasional nipping to get you to play with him. He will also sit at the kitchen and wait patiently for long periods of time until he gets a treat. Jäger is really food driven where he would rather eat than go for a walk. He loves to play chase, tag, his bacon scented ball and likes to pull on ropes, but, is not interested in fetching. This guy loves the outdoors. He can recognize any state park or national park sign. And when he sees them, he gets super excited. He enjoys trail running, participates in trail running races, hiking/backpacking, and camping. He protects his campsite but also knows campground rules which makes him the perfect “Bark Ranger”.
